Quick Tips |
Monitoring Creates Stability |
Businesses require infrastructure applications to be available. Email is now a requirement for business, and business processes like accounting, production, and shipping will not wait. Nsight, by utilizing industry leading software and monitoring processes will keep your applications available, and your downtime at a minimum. |
Problem Recognition |
Nobody wants the boss breathing down their neck because the network is down. Plan your outage by seeing an issue before it becomes a "Problem". Scheduled reports will keep you and your boss knowledgable of the current network and application states. |
Unavailability of Servers, Databases and Applications Application-level performance degradation Internal security breaches and unauthorized user access Malicious traffic, viruses and worms affecting servers Optimization of resource allocation |
The Internet is down! This is one of my favorites. Access to the internet has several key connection points in your own network - "the entire internet" has never been completly down. An occasional outage by your provider, or a website you are connecting to is a real possibility. If your business needs access 24x7, then a redundant connection (a backup line) may be a needed expense. |
Mail is not working This could be one of several main problems: Check the address... did you type it correctly? Did you attach a file... Is is to large? Are you really connected?... Press send and recieve |
